This story is about KAROLY TAKACS who was the best shooter in the Hungarian army in 1938. He was the best pistol shooter of that time. He wanted to win a gold medal in Olympics. So he starts hard training. He wanted to make his hand the best hand in the world. The time arrived when he was about to achieve his ambition. But during army training in 1938, his right hand was badly injured when a faulty granite exploded. And he loses his right hand. From whom he has to win a gold medal is now no more.
He had two options, either to mourn the loss or to resume his training with a new determination. After one month of that mishap, KAROLY will start his training with his left hand. He focused all his attention on the one who he had that is, his left hand and his only hand. There was no such thing as impossible because the impossible in itself points to the possible. He comes back after one year in the 1939 national championship in Hungary. Every competitor thought that he had come to cheer them but no one had even idea that he will fight with them. All shooters competed with their best hand but KAROLY was doing with his only hand. And then the Man wins who competed with his only hand. But he never had ceased there, he had wanted that this hand becomes the world’s best hand. So he focuses on the 1940 Olympics. But the Olympics were canceled due to world’ war 2. He keeps his ambition and focuses in 1944 but again, the Olympics were canceled. Now he put his attention to 1948, and now he became 38 years old and now it was hard to compete with the young performers. But nothing was unthinkable in the eye of KAROLY. And this time again, all opponents are competing with their best hands and thus man competes with their only hand. And wins a gold medal in the Olympics. Achieving his goal is his ambition. But he is unstoppable In 1952 again took part in Olympics. And again all compete with their next hands, the one who competes with their only hand wins Gold Medal in Olympics again.
